I did my independent study in fall of 2020 as an internship at the Biz Foundry, a small business maker space in Cookeville. While I was there, I worked with Jill Stalnaker on creating marketing material for her music festival series, MECCA. We had so much fun working on MECCA, Jill had me do some work on her agency (Leaning Tree Agency) branding and we made her a whole new website from the ground up. This was a really fun experience because I got a taste of what it's like to work as a designer in the real world.
