I'm from upstate New York and my family visits the north country frequently. Growing up, I realized everything is so different living in Tennessee! I often find that friends and colleagues haven't experienced the north country and all of its intricacies and quirks. One of my favorite snacks is poutine and it breaks my heart that it's almost unheard of down south! I wanted to make an emoji of poutine, not only because it's delicious, but I wanted to share a piece of north country with my down-south friends.
